Monthly Retainer Options

  • 10-hour Retainer / £300 pm

2.5 hours each week (on average). Ideal for business start ups and those who just need some back-up support to feel less overwhelmed. Think regular calls / coworking to help you plan your week, get unstuck, delegate tasks and generally feel like you’re not alone in this.

  • 20-hour Retainer / £580 pm

5 hours each week (on average). Ideal for consistent / ongoing tasks to help free up your time. I can provide targeted support to ensure efficient business operations and enhance client interactions within a manageable time frame.

  • 30-hour Retainer / £840 pm

This equates to about one day per week. I can offer comprehensive support to keep you organised and help streamline your systems. This time allocation allows for more in-depth attention to both ongoing tasks and your client needs, enhancing overall efficiency and client satisfaction.

  • 40-hour Retainer / £1080 pm

10 hours per week (on average). This is a solid base for a business wing-woman. This level of support allows for a thorough approach to managing day-to-day operations, projects and ad-hoc tasks, providing more extensive support.

Bespoke Client Projects

Your business is unique, and sometimes your needs go beyond the usual VA support. That’s why I offer bespoke client projects.

Here are just a few examples of the bespoke projects I can assist you with:

  • Course creation: I can help bring your course to life and create your supporting resources for added value.

  • Maternity Leave and Return Planning: I can help you plan what to get done in your second and third trimester to ensure you wrap things up in good time and feel like you can confidently step away from your business knowing everything will tick along while you’re away. I can also help you create a return to work document so you can pick things up where you left off.

  • Light bookkeeping: I can help you get you prepared for the next financial year / tax return by reconciling your invoices and expenses.

  • Research: I can conduct online research and collate my findings in an easy to use database / Google Sheets so you can take what you need and make informed decisions about your next move.

  • SOP Creation: Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are essential for consistency in your business. I can craft a clear, concise SOP suite to ensure smooth workflows and reduce errors.

  • Document Creation: I can create professional documents that reflect your brand’s quality and attention to detail.

Each project is quoted individually, ensuring you only pay for the specific time and expertise your task requires.

If you have a unique project in mind or need help with any of the above, let’s have a chat! I’m happy to explore how I can support you and provide a personalised quote that fits your exact needs. My goal is to take these time-consuming tasks off your plate so you can focus on growing your business.

From my Clients

  • Chloe Clarke, founder and CEO of Finally Free Academy

“I honestly don’t think I would manage being a pretty full time mum 2 kids under 3 whilst running my business without Heather. Whether it be having someone to bounce an idea off, some admin I just don’t have the time at my desk to do or something I just need taken off my plate, Heather is always compassionate, intuitive and bloody brilliant! I couldn’t be more grateful.”

  • Mel, Neuro-affirming Nutritionist at Wakeman Nutrition

“From the start, Heather really listened to me in terms of what I struggled with and what I needed. She introduced me to systems and adapted them for me to help with organising, prioritising and completing tasks, saving time along the way. I have been able to relinquish tasks my brain couldn't face or fathom...Her emotional support has brought back my calm and restored my self belief. I can't recommend her enough.”

  • Jo Hutton, Newcastle Yoga School / Happy Yoga Newcastle

“Heather has saved my life in my business a few times. She moved all my courses from teachable to thrivecart making something that could have been unbelievably stressful into something completely seamless. She is reliable with a close attention to detail and just overall a wonderful person to work with.”

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Well, in basic terms - a VA is a remote-based person who helps other people run their business by performing tasks for them (social media content creation, creating websites, managing calendars and emails, planning events, etc.). The things that keep businesses ticking over.

But, in my terms - I consider the role of a VA to be so much more. Yes, it’s about the day-to-day business stuff, but I believe it’s also about supporting the human(s) behind the business to feel less alone, to feel truly supported, and feel less overwhelmed.

My take is going to be different to a lot of other VAs out there; probably because of my therapeutic coaching background, maybe because I am in my 40s and m in my ‘soft-girl era’.

You may not need a VA, but you may find life much calmer with the right one by your side.

  • It's a free online call to meet and 'discover' if we vibe. You can bring your questions and we'll discuss your VA support needs, and how / if I can help you.

Feel free to book a call here or if you’re fairly local I’d be happy to meet you for a coffee :)

  • I took this answer straight from the oxford online dictionary as it's easier that way...

"a fee paid in advance to someone, in order to secure their services for use when required."

So, basically - it's a way of guaranteeing my time for you when you need it.

  • Yes, I am insured with Simply Business and I would be happy to provide you with my certificate.

  • Thanks for asking! VA support rates are:

    • 10-hour monthly retainer: £300

      20-hour monthly retainer: £580

    • 30-hour retainer: £840

    • 40-hour retainer: £1080

    • Hourly rate: £32

other rates available for bespoke projects - find out more here

  • Great question!

I don’t offer refunds for unused retainer hours as you pay those to guarantee my time for you.

If you don’t feel that I have met your expectations please let me know and allow me to make it right. You can email me hello@virtualheather.com

  • Yes, I am both Data Data Processor and Data Controller.
You can read my privacy policy here and contact me with any questions you have: hello@virtualheather.com

  • Honestly? None! Well, some GCSEs and an NVQ back in the late 90s.

Due to a not-so-wonderful start in life, I have been working full time since I was 16 years old - I have built my own skill set through actively working. I have never failed at a job, and always excelled at any task I was given. My last role was in clinical project management for a pharmaceutical R&D company - not a job for the faint hearted!

I am self-taught at most things and I believe that to be just as valuable!
Qualifications don't tell you about a person, the persons experience and character does.
